A woman drove me to drink and I didn't have the decency to thank her.

This month's featured beer:
Paulaner Hefeweizen

Paulaner Hefeweizen
Paulaner
(Munich, Germany)

Tasting Notes

Alcohol by volume: 5%

Appearance: Very hazy dark yellow color, like honey.  On top of the beer rests a thick white head that slowly dissolves to the surface leaving sheets of lace behind.

Aroma: A strong spicy aroma dominated by coriander with flowery esters mixed in.

Taste: This beer is thin bodied and very drinkable. The flavor begins with a blend of herbs and spices (coriander) before finishing with more fruity flavor of peaches and bananas.

Summary: This is one of Danielle's favorite beers.  It is very drinkable, but best enjoyed on a hot summer day.
