This
was actually the second time we climbed Mt. Liberty. In May, we
turned around about 3/4 of the way up because of all the snow. The
weather on this day was very hot and humid. Also, there were so many
bugs biting I'm surprised we had any blood left at the end of the day.

The
trail to the top is long and steep. It's like climbing a stair
master for 3 hours straight.
From
the summit of Liberty we headed to the summit of Mt. Flume. On the way
over we found a small snowy patch which was a nice cool relief on such a
hot day.
